Passeig Marítim de la Mar Bella, Barcelona

A clothing-optional beach at the northern end of Barcelona's long seafront. On sunny days it draws a gay local crowd, especially from Saturday and Sunday afternoon into the evening, around the neighbouring beach bar (chiringuito). The chiringuito serves food, drinks and cocktails, roughly from April to October depending on the weather. Check the chiringuito's Facebook page and website for news and photos.

A well-liked city beach at the far end of the Barceloneta neighborhood, reached by continuing to the right. It used to be a mixed spot where going clothing-optional was common, but in summer it now draws a mostly mainstream crowd.
