Berghain & Panorama Bar

Berghain & Panorama Bar is a large, gay-friendly club housed in a former heating plant in East Berlin. It stands apart from the mainstream, with sophisticated DJs playing techno, hard house and minimal, and the crowd is mixed. On Fridays you will often find only Panorama Bar, the smaller club, open. On Saturday night it links up with the main Berghain space, which offers hard house, techno and an old warehouse feel. Saturday night brings a long queue and a very selective door, so be ready to wait one to two hours and still risk being turned away at the entrance.
