Sziget Festival 2027, billed as the Island of Freedom, is a large yearly music and culture festival held on Óbuda Island in northern Budapest. The lineup spans rock, pop, indie and electronic music, with plenty of other activities on offer. More than 1,000 concerts, shows and performances take place across 50 stages and venues, making it one of the biggest and best-loved international music festivals in Europe.
Szent István ünnepe – St. Stephan's Day

Hungary's national holiday honors the founding of the Hungarian state and its first king, Saint Stephen. Celebrations fill the whole day across Budapest, and the evening ends with a spectacular fireworks display above the Danube at 21:00.
