Platja de l'Arbre del Gos
Platja de l'Arbre del Gos is a long stretch of sand south of Valencia that runs from the village of Pinedo towards El Saler and beyond. The first kilometres have promenades for walkers and cyclists, along with beach restaurants and sanitary facilities. It is far quieter than the city beach to the north, though it takes a little more effort to get there. Bringing a bicycle is a good tip, and a car also works; without either, buses 24 and 25 run out this way. The gay section lies roughly midway between Pinedo and El Saler, beside a disused factory site hidden behind the dunes. As of 2020 all that remained of the factory was its tall chimney, which is visible from far away and makes the gay beach easy to find. The nearest bus stop is Carrera del Riu – Coll Vert.
